NOTICE: Annual Meeting of Members being held on December 4th @ 7PM
PaddleALL is a well established Canoe Kayak Canada program initiative aimed at promoting participation in the sport of sprint Canoe Kayak for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This CPCC program uses recreational and sprint canoes and kayaks to introduce participants to the sport of flat water canoeing and kayaking. The program includes a safety orientation, technical instruction, and coaching by experienced, certified coaches. Although all abilities are welcome, paddlers must be comfortable on and around the water.
For those athletes who have a competitive edge and want to challenge themselves out on the water, competition opportunities are available. Information about event participation and dates will be provided at the beginning of the season, however paddlers are encouraged to reach out if they have questions, or if they would like to express interest in trying out a race this summer. The canoe/kayak family in Canada is a welcoming and inclusive community, and our Paddle All and Special O programs are an excellent way to get outdoors, meet new people, and of course get some exercise!
