Wars & Fours

 This program is intended for those looking to be part of team boats only, with a focus on War Canoe, requiring a lesser time commitment to the sport. Participants will be able to attend up to 2 crew boat sessions per week (schedule TBD). Racing is not mandatory for participants in this program, however the priority of this program will be to develop crews for the 2020 CKC National Championships in Ottawa. 

 

Dates: June 17rd, 2019 - August 31st, 2019

Ages: Participants must be 14 years or older as of January 1st, 2019

Program Cost: $200. Fees do not include divisional, provincial, or national regatta race fees.

Requirements: Registration is not complete until your account is paid in full and you have submitted a signed waiver and code of conduct. Payment can be made online, or by credit, debit, or cheque in the canoe club office and is due by May 15th, 2019. Healthy Active Living

 Active for life program for athletes in U15 and older age groups. This program is intended for those looking to train on a part-time basis, requiring a lesser time commitment to the sport. Participants will be able to attend up to 5 sessions per week of their choosing (within their age group). Racing is not mandatory for participants in this program, but crew boat participation may be available. 


Dates: April 29th, 2019 - August 31st, 2019

Ages: Participants must be 14 years or older as of January 1st, 2019

Program Cost: $395 + $100 Insurance and Affiliation Fees (EOD, CKO, CKC) and $30 Capital Improvement Contribution. Fees do not include divisional, provincial, or national regatta race fees.
