Spring Virtual Program (recommended age 12+)

Due to physical distancing measures put in place by municipal, provincial, and federal governments, we are offering a virtual spring training program.  We can’t physically train together, but we want to make sure our athletes are still able to be active & healthy and are able to prepare for a successful paddling season in 2020 and beyond. Lead by our Head Coach Pat Lester, we will be running an 8-week virtual training program that will be carried out using online platforms like Zoom video conferencing and Google Hangouts. Our winter program has been operating virtually through these platforms for March and April with great success!

This spring program will be geared toward developing aerobic capacity and specific strength for canoers and kayakers. Participants will take part in live group workouts on Zoom and will be given a detailed weekly program to follow at home. In addition to the live workouts, athletes will chat with Coach Pat daily to discuss the program, the workouts, individual goals, and talk about several different athlete development topics.

Please note that even if you have registered for a spring/summer program already, you will need to register again to participate in this program and gain access to the training resources. The cost of this program is $105 for the full 8 weeks of programming.
